At her request, the others helped her build a platform and hang shiny curtains. Then they waited to see Eliza’s “collection”. They speculated among themselves because she wasn’t known to be a philatelist, numismatist, or even a lepidopterist. In fact, none of them could recall Eliza ever collecting anything. When she made her grand entrance at last, prancing gracefully on to the stage, they were mesmerized. That afternoon, Eliza modeled eight complete outfits and at the finale proudly announced that each one was her original design, made with all natural materials and plant based dyes!
