It was Evangeline’s turn to wear the crown! The flock searched for her hither and yon. At last they found her under her favorite tree, sitting ever so still and repeating her usual “ohm”. They approached quietly. Evangeline thanked them and asked that they please skip her turn, for a miraculous event had occurred while she meditated, and she was enjoying it immensely. Much later, after the birds had hatched and flown, she still preferred the nest and wore it almost daily.
