Gary wanted his friend’s wish to come true. He trotted over the hill, through the fields, past the gate and beyond the hedge where the biggest dandelions grew. He chose the fluffiest one and held it gingerly between his teeth. Gary crept home ever so slowly to preserve the delicate seeds and deliver his gift intact.
